Getting started
How quickly will you reply?
On WhatsApp, usually within minutes — always within 2 hours, in every time zone.
Are the 2 trial sessions really free?
Yes — completely free, no card and no commitment.
What happens after the trial?
If you’d like to continue, you choose a monthly plan. If not, there’s nothing to cancel.
Can I request a specific teacher?
Yes — mention their name when you book and we’ll do our best to match you.
Courses & method
What if I don’t speak Arabic?
Every teacher is fully bilingual in Arabic and English, and many students start from zero.
What makes your approach different?
The Itqan method: mastery and reflection (Tadabbur), not just recitation — thematic verse grouping and real-time correction instead of rote repetition.
Do I get a certificate or Ijazah?
Every student receives a certificate per level. Recitation and Hifz students can work toward a formal Ijazah with a documented chain back to the Prophet ﷺ.
Teachers
Who are your teachers?
Al-Azhar University graduates holding Ijazahs, experienced with both Arabic and non-Arabic speakers.
Can I request a female teacher for my daughter or wife?
Yes — dedicated female teachers for women and children, in a private, faith-conscious setting.
Scheduling & technology
What platform are sessions on?
Zoom or Google Meet, with an interactive whiteboard for marking up Tajweed.
What if I miss a session?
Reschedule free with 24 hours’ notice, so a missed session isn’t a lost one.
Do you cover my time zone?
Yes — lessons run around the clock, so you book the time that genuinely suits you.
Family & kids
My child is 5 — is that too young?
Not at all — Ummah Cubs welcomes children from age 5 with short, game-based 30-minute lessons.
Can I track my child’s progress?
A report after every lesson and monthly badges, with one Family Portal account for all your children; the live dashboard and recording library are rolling out.
Pricing & payment
How much does it cost?
From $40 to $128 a month depending on session length and frequency — every plan starts with 2 free sessions. See pricing.
Can I cancel or pause?
Yes — cancel anytime (effective at the end of your billing month) or freeze your subscription temporarily.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, bank transfer, Western Union and MoneyGram.
