Teacher Omneya Ali is a graduate of Al-Azhar University’s Faculty of Sharia and holds a documented Ijazah in the recitation of Hafs ‘an ‘Asim — a continuous chain of transmission reaching back to the Prophet ﷺ. With over 10 years of experience teaching both Arabic speakers and non-Arabic speakers across Europe, North America, and Australia, she is renowned for her extraordinary patience, her ability to identify Makhraj errors instantly, and her skill in making Tajweed accessible to complete beginners. She specializes in the Al-Ajrumiyyah and Al-Jazariyyah classical texts, and leads Ummah Academy’s Tajweed and Hifz programs.
