Most people picture Quran memorization as a straight, page-by-page march from Al-Fatiha to An-Nas. The Itqan method takes a different approach \u2014 and for many students, a more effective one. Here’s how it actually works.<\/p>\n

What “Itqan” Means<\/h2>\n

Itqan (\u0625\u062a\u0642\u0627\u0646) translates roughly to “perfection” or “mastery.” As a memorization approach, it prioritizes deep, accurate, durable memorization over simply covering pages quickly \u2014 the goal isn’t to have “touched” every verse once, but to genuinely retain what’s memorized long-term.<\/p>\n
